DIY Embroidered Bell Bottom Inserts: One Minute Video

Ok, so I’m minding my own business, flipping through the new Sundance catalog and what do I see?

Embroidered bell bottom jeans!!!!!!!

I couldn’t believe my eyes, but there they were in all of their free-spirit glory. 🙂

Be still my bohemian heart…

To spend $138.00 just wasn’t in my budget.

So, just for fun, I HAD to make some.

You’re welcome. 🙂

Very nice! I’m old enough that the bell bottoms with the insert take me back to my youth.

OMG! I’m back in the 60’s and 70’s again! It’s true, “everything old is new again!” However, I think I’m way too old to wear bell bottom jeans this time around.

  3. Christina in SW FL says:

Cool flashback! 🙂 My mother used to make my favorite jeans “bigger” by inserting my father’s old ties (it was the early 70’s and ties were LOUD!!) into the side seams of my jeans. I loved them! Thanks for the reminder and inspiration to do it again.
