Thank you to everyone who made the last season of Refashion Runway so much fun!
So much fun, in fact, I’m excited to announce:
Season Two of Refashion Runway!
Here’s how it’ll work:
Much like Project Runway and The Great British Sewing Bee, we’ll choose eight refashion seamstresses (or seamsters) to compete in weekly challenges. The refashions will then be scored by their fellow competitors and open to a popular vote. The scores will be combined to find a weekly winner and one competitor will be out (not without a prize for participating though). At the end of the series, whoever is left will not only receive a nice prize but will be crowned the winner of Refashion Runway: Season Two!!
If you’re interested in participating as a competitor, please fill out this form explaining why you think you’d be perfect for this competition and send before and after photographs of two of your favorite refashions to:

I had such a hard time choosing from all the amazing people who tried out last time. So, if you tried out last season and didn’t make it, I hope you’ll try again.
Tryouts will be open until September 7, 2013. We will announce the contestants and challenges on September 14, 2013. The first challenge will begin on September 21, 2013.

I thought about auditioning, but I am just not much of a refashioner – Plus I have a huge stash of material that I really need to do something with – so I will be sewing along with my material stash upcycling clothes. 🙂

Hooray for Season 2, AND a super big HOORAY about your book deal. I am looking forward to seeing more about that over the next few months too. The way you blog really lends itself to a book format. I love the photo with the instructions written on the image. You make everything very clear!

Hoping to get chosen to take part this time!! I start My Textiles Degree Course on 23rd September, but I am sure I can fit in some upcycling too, might get to make something new to wear to Uni!!!
