I found you by looking for posts related to ‘sewing’ 🙂
Not commenting for the giveaway only. But I would like to make known to you how I found you and why I’m following you. You followed me and you did like my post then I had a look at your site. The first thing that I read was the very beautiful rustic wedding of your gorgeous daughter. My heart was captured ( even without the music yet..hehe ). I knew from there, you are a hands-on mom and a very loving one. I would like to draw inspiration from a mother like you so I followed you.
What a kind thing to say! It’s so fun to get to know you!
Hi Beth! I found your blog by entering upcycling clothing on Google. I was searching for sites for students in the Fiber Arts program at the high school I work at. The girls are very into upcycling, and needless to say, I caught the bug too. I really enjoy your site. I am going to make the rope and fabric basket tonight, now that I finally found COTTON clothesline. Keep up the great posts.
Let me know if you have any trouble and I’ll try to help. As far as the figure eight motion goes, every inch or so, wrap the fabric strip under the cord below, and back around the cord you’re working on in a figure eight fashion. Then continue to wrap an inch or so, take a wrap under the cord below and back around the cord you’re working on. Creating figure eights every inch or so.
After numerous tries, I got the figure eight thing!! Now I am making my pink Easter Basket! Thanks
I’d love to see a picture!!!
