Blue jeans aren’t just for cowboys anymore. Move on over you rugged men, we’ve got some fashion statements to make. We’re distressing them, cropping them, acid washing them and fraying them–anything to make our jeans cool and different. Now you can give your plain jeans some personality by using a stencil and bleach to add some modern tattoo-like designs. Cover them with patterns or just put a few strategically placed pictures to alter your jeans and make them your own. Once you give this DIY a try, none of your denim will be safe. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Happy Bleaching!
Beth
Sweet, BUT nowhere did I see the step where you rinse out the bleach once you are happy with the amount of bleaching. One could very easily wind up with holes where the bleach was sprayed.
You’re right about rinsing and washing them Kathie. The step by step article mentions that. Thank you for the reminder. 😀
OMG, I love this. I used to hand embroider designs on my jeans many years ago. I just might have to try this.. Thanks.
Oh I’d love to see your version of this Louise!

Would using a Clorox Bleach Pen work?
Yes, absolutely. You could draw your reading with the pen or you could use the gel from the pen and do it like this: https://therenegadeseamstress.com/2018/08/05/new-one-minute-video-customize-your-beach-towels-with-bleach/
Oops that should’ve said design not reading. Darn auto correct. 😀
