Sometimes, I worry about myself.
Katie used to remind me quite often that it wasn’t the 70’s anymore.
Maybe she was right, perhaps I haven’t moved on.
I’ve always had a thing about off-the-shoulder blouses. I think they are so cool. I think they have summer written all over them. I think they would look great with bell-bottoms. (Oops, did I really say that last thing out loud?)
The beauty is, you can easily make your own super cute off-the-shoulder blouse from any old shirt you may have in under an hour.
All you need is enough 3/4 inch elastic to go around your shoulders and a shirt with a pattern you like to get started.

Love this refashion, Beth. And really loving your little videos. Gorgeous work all round x
Thanks so much Janine! That really means a lot coming from someone as talented as you. 🙂
Never really been a fan of this fashion. I think it has an awful lot to do with the body shape, the hair, the suntan. The girl looks amazing – I would not.
Rylee is a beautiful girl, inside and out. 🙂
If you like a style, don’t worry, it will come back in fashion. That is a timeless summer look, but it always looked awkward to wear to me. Love your tutorial and video!
So true, I’m noticing all kinds of fashion that’s coming back around. Thanks for watching!!! Happy Sewing!
