I’d like to see the challenge of refashioning to make a garment fit a larger size. It’s so common (and easy) to take an oversized garment and cut it down to make it fit a smaller person, but as a plus size woman I have trouble finding garments large enough to cut down! Perhaps some ideas on how to combine two pieces or adding parts to make something small bigger.

I agree with rozylass. I would also like to see combination of multiple textures i.e. denim, knit, flannel

I am currently addicted to boro and shashiko stitching. It would be great to see the contestants create garments inspired by this trend.

I’d like to see a cute cotton t shirt given longer sleeves… almost down to the elbow, and have it lengthened. I love cotton, but so often the tees shink, and I’m not a fan of my upper arms or tummy.
