Ooh La La! Shopping never looked so good!
My beautiful friend Linda is looking mighty fine in these, easy to make, removable faux fur cuffs. No need to make separate cuffs for all of your coats and jackets. Just make one pair and switch ’em out.
All you need is 1/4 yard of faux fur and lining material, a hair elastic and some buttons to make your own removable faux fur cuffs.

And just a thought…..
These cuffs would make a great handmade gift this time of year. 🙂
Have fun with the cuffs and remember, if you’re looking for a gift idea or maybe even a treat for yourself, you can get my book, The Refashion Handbook: Refit, Redesign, Remake for Everybody for 25% off right now.

Love this idea.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Oh my this is just the sort of thing that people did in the days of hand sewing. Even their sleeves were sometimes removable. What a great idea. I love sewing with fake fur. This reminds me of when I made a coat for a little girl. Might have to do that again.
Thanks, Lucinda! I’ve had a bit of an obsession with fake fur lately myself. LOVE IT!
You have some good ideas. Soon As I plow through my load of stuff I’ll try some refashioning.
Thanks so much and Happy Sewing!!!
