Speaking of Handbag Refashions…

Since we’re on the subject of handbag refashions during Refashion Runway this week, I thought it might be fun to revisit a couple of my own bag refashions from the last year…

If you’d like to see the entire tutorial for any of these bags, just click on the image and it will take you there.

How about this bag made from an old sweater…

Renegade Seamstress Winter Tote from a sweater

or this pencil case made from a reclaimed zipper and a discontinued fabric sample.

The voting ends at midnight on Friday, August 14.

Have fun,

I love these! A few years back I did a pencil case for my kids out of chalk cloth. The chalk cloth worked GREAT as scrap paper for math problems.

  2. Great idea! Need to try!!:)

I love the leather fringe bag!! It’s such a great refashion. Sadly I’m far too attached to my own leather jacket to cut it up but it’s a great excuse to go charity shopping for a new one! 🙂
