Tis’ the season!
In the spirit of giving this holiday season, I have another giveaway for you. I’m giving away this warm and cozy upcycled Pendleton Wool clutch.
It’s made from a vintage Pendleton Wool mill end which in my humble opinion, is super cool! Thanks, Mari!!!
Pendleton is only fifty miles from my house, and of course it goes without saying , it’s the home of the famous Pendleton Round Up
and the Pendleton Woolen Mill. If you’re interested, you can read some of the history here:

This is so cute! Pinned it to my Pinterest board! Would love to win it 🙂
Thanks for pinning, Stephanie!!!
Not only is this clutch adorable (I love it just as much as I did the last one), but so are you. I love the way you style your photos. So great to see a happy fellow crafter peeking out behind that amazing clutch! xo
Awwwwwww….thanks, Shayna! I have so much fun with my sixteen year old son taking the after photos. He’s so patient with his mother. We used to take most of the after shots around the house and now we’re starting to drive to other fun locations together. I hope our trips will be as special to him someday as they are to me right now. Happy crafting!!!
Love your tutorials!! 🙂 (Pinned, too!)
Awwwwww….thanks, Mary Ellen!
They are gorgeous….. Thanks
Thank you, Liochka!
Gorgeous!
Obrigado!
You’re welcome!
🙂
You are so amazing. I get so ticked to see what you’ve come up with out of unusual items. I pinned this one to my sewing board. Maybe I’ll try one!!
Thanks so much for pinning this, Laura!! It really is a fun project, I hope you get a chance to make it someday!
I showed this to Mark, he is very impressed with the clutch and how you balanced the design. I keep finding cool fabric here & think of you!
Hey Mari! I miss you so much!!!! Sounds like I’m going to have to make a fabric scouting trip to Walla Walla very soon!
LOVE THIS! I pinned it! I do hope that I win this one, but if not, I can always make my own, thanks to your wonderful tutorial! Thank you so much for all your hard work on this!
Awwww….thanks for pinning!!!
Love it! I have a coat that someone made out of a Pendleton blanket for me but it never fit properly. Do you think I should try and resize it or make handbags out of it?!
Hi Stephanie! That’s a hard question to answer with out seeing the coat. But, I think I would first try to resize the coat, because a Pendleton Wool coat would be super cool!
Oh! Pendleton wool! Having a bit of that history (and quality!) would make me so happy! I pinned your tutorial.
Thanks for pinning Amy!!!
What a great idea! I love these.
Thanks, Trish!!
Not surprising, another great idea, and more great pictures! I love that you and your son travel around to take pictures! My son and I used to do that together and I really miss not being able to do that for awhile. I’m sure that both of you will have happy memories together of your photo shoots!
Thanks, Susan! Nothing like spending time with our sons. I have to compete with football, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, snowboarding, and now driving. I savor any time I’m lucky enough to get with him these days. He’s always been such a good sport to take pictures of his mom. LOVE HIM!!!
Pendleton is my hometown and I love Pendleton wool. It is great to sew with, looks so polished. The clutch purse turned out great.
Thanks, Marla! We’re practically neighbors….
What a great idea! When I go to get my remnants for my rugs, I have seen the wool ends and have wondered what I could make with them, thanks to you now I know. Penny
Hey Penny,
Sounds like a fun ROAD TRIP to me!!!
I pinned the tutorial. I can’t wait to try it!!! Thank you so much, Beth! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/100627372897951423/
Thanks for pinning, McKenna!
Love the Pendleton wool clutch! I remember one Christmas my mom being so thrilled that my dad gave her a Pendleton wood blazer for Christmas. Wonder if she still has it …..
Thank you, Joen! That would be so exciting if your mom still has the blazer. Pendleton Wool Rocks!!!
