Shhhhhh…….
Did you hear that?
It’s the sound of some scrap bustin’, crafty goodness comin’ your way.
Need a gift for someone?
How ’bout a DIY personalized chenille pillow that you can make in an afternoon?
Here’s a chance to lighten up your scrap basket and the ‘ol thrift store stash. I used a thrifted chenille bedspread for the pillow and some refashion scraps for the applique letters.
Let’s get this party started:
Thought you might like some action shots! 🙂
This project was inspired by a pillow from Girly Bird Boutique. If making a pillow isn’t in your future, for whatever reason, check out her store. She’s makes amazing things!
Very, very cute!
Thanks so much Paula, I’m glad you liked it!
Happy Tuesday!
Beth
Gorgeous!!! The bright fabric letters really stand out against the white.
Thanks Pam!
Cute little girl with a cute pillow.
Love the pillow and love that little girl!
Awwwww….she’s a cutie, that’s for sure!
Brooke looks like she might be around the same age as my daughter, Tessa…5? What a cutie!
She’s 3 1/2 but very tall for her age. Her dad is 6’4″and mom is tall too. So Brooke will most likely be a basketball player. 🙂
I bet Tessa is fun. I’m a Kindergarten teacher and I love 5 year olds. Great age! I love going to work everyday!
Tessa is tall as well (dad is 6′ 4″ too) and I am a literacy coach is a kindergarten classroom!!
How fun! We have so much in common!
Oh, Beth, what a wonderful craft tutorial! And just look at the expression on that angel’s face! She loved it! Good job, Grandma!
Thanks Cara! Hopefully scoring some Grandma points! I love her little chubby hands. Three year olds are so precious!
I have passed up several chenille bedspreads at resale shops. No more! What a cute, cuddly pillow. I can think of several special gals in my life that would like one! Great job!
Thanks Kelly!
Your pillow turned out super cute! And what a cutie pie your little one is… I just love chenille!
