SNOW DAY TODAY!!

Our little valley has been inundated with mountains of beautiful snow for the last few days and I just got the call a few minutes ago that school was cancelled!

Soooooooooooo….

Seems like a good day to try out one of these Cast Iron Skillet meals that have been taking over my Pinterest feed lately.

But, how many times have I grabbed onto something hot coming out of the oven without thinking about how I’m going to get burned. Not anymore though, now that I made one of these beauties.

This Skillet Handle Cover is quick and easy to make, will keep your hands safe and is a great way to use up fabric scraps.
