Wow! It’s hard for me to believe that Season Three of Refashion Runway is already coming to a close.
It’s been a fun season of transformations and I’m going to miss opening the emails of all of these talented women to see what they’ve created each week.
Thanks so much to everyone who participated this season, from the competitors to the sponsors to all of you who voted and commented. We’ve had close to 10,000 votes this season and thanks to you, I’ve enjoyed every minute.
There is something super fun in the works for Season Four of Refashion Runway, so stay tuned… 🙂

So now, let’s get to the part you’ve all been waiting for.
The winner of the Asymmetrical challenge is…
Sarah from Life is Beautiful.
She wowed us with this pink, ruffled number. She definitely has a gift of seeing the potential in a garment.
Great work, Sarah!

Now, let’s get onto the overall winners of Refashion Runway: Season Three. I’m so glad you guys are in charge of determining the winners. I would have such a hard time deciding because I love them all.
As I went back through the total votes and the judges scores and combined them to determine the second and third place winners, I found that Gema from Sequins and Slippers and Kara from While Camden Sleeps were too close to call.

For more refashion inspiration:
Congratulations to all the winners! They are all deserving of the awards and very inspiring to the rest of us.
I’m totally gobsmacked! To me, Kara and Sarah will always both come in first place – their refashioned garments, and execution, have been complete perfection… in fact, I’ve been in awe of ALL the ladies since the start, so to make it to the final three was a massive surprise, and honour. The Refashion Runway has made me extremely productive, and forced me into being the most creative I’ve ever been – and for that reason, I am truly grateful you chose me to be in the original line-up, Beth! Definitely the highlight of my sewing journey so far – THANK-YOU SO MUCH!
Here’s to my new friends, on the other side of the pond, who I will always think of fondly *makes a toast*
x Gema x
Oh my gosh. So many wonderfully talented people out there. It is quiet amazing. Congrats to all and thanks to you, Beth, for putting this all together. Very fun.
So honored to have been a part of this competition! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it and for being such an excellent great host, Beth! And congratulations to every contestant, they were all incredible and they are all winners too! And Gema, I wish we could all get together and make a toast to celebrate! I am so glad I’ve made new friends!

Congratulations ladies! It was a battle to the finish. Your restyles were specular and inspired me to sew along for the Boho challenge. Beth….your encouragement has my head spinning and wondering what your “something super fun in the works” is for Season 4. It is my hope to enter for a chance to become one of the competitors. Until then…happy sewing!
This contest was a fascinating process to watch. I got so many great ideas and inspirations.
Wow! What inspiration! These ladies are all super talented and I’m so sad to see it end. Looking ahead to possibly more seasons of Beth Tim Gunn Huntington’s Refashion Runway! 🙂
So sad to see it over….congrats Sarah! I’ll always love Kara….
Congratulations to all the ladies; there is a ton of talent here. Thank you, Beth, for hosting. I LOVE Refashion Runway 🙂
What an amazing array of transformed clothes. I love this challenge. Well done to all the winners.
Congratulations! to all the winners. I have loved every one of the refashions and am sad to see it come to an end. I look forward to the next season and want to say thank you to Beth for all the work you put into sharing all this fun with us every week. Have a blessed day.
Sorry for my delay in finally commenting! I got the results via email while on vacation, and was so busy I just got to commenting now that I’m back home! Congrats Sarah! You’re always spectacular. And Gema, you are so humble. From the beginning, I counted you as someone who would win 1st place. You are as talented as you are kind and gracious. You have an incredible eye to see the potential in things in a way I have never seen paralleled. You are truly amazing. As a seamstress, you have great craftsmanship, and as a designer, you have exquisite taste. I look forward to see what you come up with in the future. (Still waiting for something awesome with dental floss.) I consider it an honor to win 2nd with you. I told my husband I suspected I would get 3rd place, so I was surprised when we tied for second. It’s an honor to share that place with you! Maybe we can make matching 2nd place shirts 🙂
Great refashions
