I’d love to be in your sidebar!

I finally did IT!

I figured IT out!

IT took me forever!

But now that I’ve done IT,

I’d love IT to be in your side bar!

Check out my new button!

I even figured out how to add a Grab Box.

Why? You ask?

Well, a few weeks ago, I joined fifty other bloggers in  “What I Like About Your Blog” hosted by Inspire Me Heather.

We are each given two other blogs to critique and in turn our blog will be anonymously critiqued by two other bloggers. I appreciated the feedback.

One of the suggestions that was given to me was to have a button for others to put in their sidebar. I have actually put buttons in my sidebar for many of the bloggers I enjoy reading. That way my readers can easily enjoy them with just a click of a button.

Ok, no problem, I told myself.

Not quite as easy as I thought.

But after many trial and error sessions, I’ve finally done it!

Feels like quite the accomplishment.

So, if you enjoy what I have to offer, I’d love to be in your sidebar, too!

Enjoy your day!

Beth

I’m impressed! I can’t even get a blogger award to cling to my sidebar?! Maybe that says something about my worthiness! I’m heading over to check out the blog critiques now- cool!

  2. Got it! And I’m honored to share your blog. 🙂

  3. Happy to have you on my sidebar…Welcome!!!! Love your blog, btw!!!! Awesome material.

Neat! How did you do that?

I just started my “blog” two weeks ago and don’t know how to do any of that fancy stuff! LOL. I’m a blogger newbie.

LOL! This post resonated with me IMMENSELY! I am unable to do much with my blog, save for posting and returning comments. My husband is responsible for all the graphically pleasing icons and pictures. I have a button, too, and have no idea how to instruct people to use it!

Congrats on figuring this out on your own! I am impressed!

  7. cool! Did you find a tutorial online to learn how to make it or just your own trial and error? I’ve been wanting to figure this one out for a long time. Any suggestions?

  8. Awesome! I just made a new button for my site too, but now I need to figure out how to make it available. Lol, its always something.

Yay for you! I know this computer and blogging mess can be such a hassle…but it feels so good to figure something out!

The day you commented on my arm chair redo, I was spending hours trying to make one of those buttons! Great job! Still working on that button…;)

Thanks for the information. Isn’t an awesome feeling when you can do something like that all by yourself?

Working on putting you on my blog, but, alas, having WordPress problems. Will figure it out once I get a chance to go through the whole tutorial you posted. Good work, and by the way, you’ll add mine when I get it done? 🙂

  13. Of course I will!!!!

  14. Thanks for checking out my blog! I’m so happy I checked yours because you answered a question I had ! I have been wanting to make a button too. 🙂

  15. beautiful photos! I don’t really get down with the pickled stuff, but I’m gonna paste this link for a friend who does!

    • **Wordpress hates me today. This was supposed to land on your post with pickled asparagus. In addition to posting my comments in crazy places, WordPress also has me following comments from Freshly Pressed blogs and I have 1,987,000 emails. If I’d figured out a sidebar I would be proud of myself, too! Because clearly, today, I just need to put the laptop down and find something to paint 🙂

  16. I would so love it if you could give me some pointers on my blog and I would happily put you on my sidebar. I made a blog button before but I don’t like it and it looked so ridiculous on my sidebar. Will so have to try making a new one to put up. Thanks again for all the great info.

Beth, I’ve just discovered your blog and patterns. Wow! I’m an old hippie and have been doing this kind of restyling and alterations for years. I love that younger folks are making it cool again. If I can figure out how to do this blog thing you’ll see my stuff. Peace Elaine
