The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree…

Brown eyes, straight hair, AND the re-purposing gene?!!?? I guess it’s true, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. My daughter Katie created an upcycled memo board from an old lonely shutter she found at the thrift store.

After painting and sanding, she added the star at the top, some clothes pins and turned it into a fun memo board.

I’m a proud mama! 🙂

You should be! 🙂 What a great job!

  3. So cute! She has inherited your creativity. I feel lucky too. While my boys (20 and 17) are not into up-cycling, I feel grateful that they are now excited about a trip with me to the thrift store. They are such fashion divas (my fault) but now they see the fun of the treasure hunt!
